1. Sowing: Sow from March-April in a sunny location with fine rich potting soil.
2. Transplant: when plants reach 4-5 leaf stage, select the strongest seedlings and plant them in rows of 40 cm x 30 cm.
3. Harvest: Harvest from July-August. To reduce bitterness, blanch the heart when they reach 30 cm in diameter by tying leaves 8 to 10 days before harvesting.

Chicory planted along cauliflower will save space and watering.
