Item Ref #: 950 | Lettuce Romaine- Laitue Romaine Verte Maraichere
Placed Outdoors

Description:
This variety is ideal for summer-autumn harvest, producing beautiful lettuce with large and firm head. Its high heat resistance makes it easy to succeed.

Culinary Tip:

Lettuce can be eaten in salads but also braised or stewed.

Culture Tip:

1. Sowing: Sow March to July in rows 30 cm apart.
2. Thinning: At 2-3 leaf stage, pull the smaller seedlings and keep only the strongest lettuce every 30 cm. Lettuce like the sun exposure.
3. Harvest: To avoid bolting and extend harvest season, water regularly. Harvest end of June to October.

Companion plants:

Plant radishes next to Lettuce plants. Lettuce bolting is less likely to happen with radish is nearby.
