Item Ref #: 944 | Lettuce- Laitue a Couper Red Salad Bowl
Placed Outdoors

Description:

This variety of salad will give you quality leaves with excellent taste. Very productive, hardy and supports heat well hence can be harvested all year round.

Culinary Council:

Lettuce can be eaten in salads but also braised or stewed.

Culture Tip:

1. Sowing: Sow March to July in rows 30 cm apart.
2. Thinning: At 2-3 leaf stage, pull the smaller seedlings and keep only the strongest lettuce every 30 cm. Lettuce like the sun exposure.
3. Harvest: To avoid bolting and extend harvest season, water regularly. Harvest end of June to October.

Companion plants:

Plant radishes next to Lettuce plants. Lettuce bolting is less likely to happen with radish is nearby.
